How we handle your information

Beem Cleaners ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect, why, how it is used and stored, and how you can access or correct it.

1. What we collect

We collect personal information you give us directly and information generated when you use this website.

• Enquiry and booking forms — your name, phone number, email address, business name, site address or suburb, the service you are interested in, your preferred inspection days and times, and anything you write in the message field.
• Phone and email contact — the details you provide when you call 03 9989 9914 or email us.
• Clients — site access details, alarm and key arrangements, contact people, billing details and service records needed to deliver and invoice the cleaning service.
• Job applicants — the information you provide in a careers application, including work history, right-to-work status, police check and Working With Children Check details where required for the role.
• Website usage data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring site and interaction events, collected through the analytics tools described below.

2. Why we collect it

• To respond to your enquiry, arrange a free site inspection and prepare a quote.
• To deliver, schedule, supervise and invoice cleaning services you have engaged us for.
• To send a booking confirmation and, where you have enquired, a follow-up about your inspection.
• To assess job applications and meet our legal obligations as an employer.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.
• To comply with our legal, insurance, WHS and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it. You can opt out of any marketing at any time by replying to the message or emailing us.

3. Cookies, analytics and third-party tools

This website uses the following third-party services, each of which may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser:

• Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 — page views and interaction events (for example phone-number taps and form submissions) so we can measure how the site performs. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Microsoft Clarity — session replays and heatmaps that show how visitors move through pages, with form fields and typed text masked. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
• Google Maps — the embedded map on some pages loads from Google and is subject to Google's terms.
• Cloudflare — hosts this website and processes form submissions and emails on our behalf; Cloudflare may log IP addresses for security and performance.
• Resend — the email service that delivers your enquiry to us and sends your confirmation email.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site will still work, although some analytics will not be recorded.

4. How we store and protect it

Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and delivered to our business email. Client records are kept in our business systems with access limited to staff who need them. Some of the services above store data outside Australia (for example in the United States); by using this site you consent to that transfer for the purposes described. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law (tax and employment records are generally kept for seven years), then delete or de-identify it.

5. Disclosure

We disclose personal information only to: our staff and contracted cleaners, to the extent needed to service your site; the service providers listed above; our insurers, accountants and professional advisers; and where required by law, a court, or a regulator. We do not disclose client site access details to anyone outside the team assigned to that site.

6. Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing stefany@beemcleaners.com.au or calling 03 9989 9914. We will respond within 30 days. If you believe we have breached the APPs, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last updated.
